Integrative Healing Arts combine the strengths of therapeutic bodywork and emotional re-education. Integration of these approaches can more completely improve health and balance than individual physical or emotional therapies by themselves.


Swedish/Esalen massage helps to reduce the effects of stress and tension, increases circulation, stimulates the flow of lymph, relaxes and softens injured and overused muscles, reduces spasms and cramping, and increases joint flexibility.


Trager and Feldenkrais body re-education techniques encourage the nervous system to return to its natural balanced state. Using light, gentle, nonintrusive movements such as gentle compression, elongation and/or rocking, these approaches are deeply relaxing, increase ease in daily activities, and improve posture, balance and breathing.

Mariah Williams

Since 1987 I have practiced in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Washington, and the Bahamas. I returned to Maine in 2001 and now practice here in Liberty.

My training includes NH Institute for Massage Therapy, Trager and Feldenkrais body therapies and re-education, mentorships with chiropractors, psychotherapists and spiritual healers, and an M.A. in Education.


Fees
Appointments may vary from half-hour to much longer depending on what clients wish to accomplish. Fees are $30 for the first half hour appointment and $20 for each additional half hour. Barter and sliding scale are available on request. Gift certificates available.
